Two Weeks Left!

I can't believe that in two weeks from this moment I will be sitting at the gate at LAX waiting to board a plane for my journey to Africa.   So far it hit me hardest when I was selling most of my belongings at a garage sale last weekend.  It's not like I am particulary attached to my stuff, since I've pretty much maintained the look of a college student in anticipation of this moment over the years.  However, seeing most of my belongings go has put my move across the world into perspective more so than any other task on my never ending to do list.  My apartment no longer feels like a home but more of a storage facility.  With that said I am so thankful that as a teacher I have most of the summer off and don't have to return to work on Monday as my fellow Cavaliers (Chula Vista Middle family) do.  From this point forward it is all about spending time with my friends here in San Diego and checking off tasks from my list.

  1. You can't believe you are leaving so soon and I can't believe I go back to work so soon. You have such an amazing journey ahead. I'll look forward to keeping up with you on this blog1

  2. Thank you Colleen for your support and encouragement.

  3. It was so good to see you. I cherish the memory. I know that God is wwith you as you take the path He has chosen for you! I am so proud of you but I already miss you sorely.

    Love and Prayers
